Local Freight is our UK courier collection service for Ceylon Shipping customers and eligible local collection requirements. If you cannot drop your packages off, we come to you and bring them into our network.

What collection costs
Collection is priced for each package, not per shipment. On an international quote the collection total is grouped with Sri Lanka delivery as your Door-to-Door Service Charge.
Flat collection fee per package.
The flat fee plus £0.60 for each additional kilogram.

Heavier packages need extra handling, so an additional charge applies on top of the weight-based fee above.
Air freight packages cannot exceed 30 kg actual weight, so these surcharge bands apply to eligible collection and sea freight packages.
How collection works
Add your UK collection address and a preferred date on your quote or booking.
Seal each package and keep them together, ready for the driver.
Our courier collects from the address on your booking and confirms the pickup.
Your packages are processed at our UK facility and tracked from that point on.
